We recently used Sola Shade to design and install a louvered roof system and shutters in our courtyard, replacing an old pergola and lattice arrangement. We are thrilled with the result. The system is a great quality and visually appealing to both us and our neighbours. Tudor attended promptly to measure and quote on a large motorised retractable awning for a courtyard that gets too much western sun. Wait time from order to completion was 8 weeks. Installation was on time and fuss free with Simmo and Toby. We are delighted with the end product; powder coating of the head box matches the wall render ,and the 90% uv blockout grey tweed fabric looks great. Matches the house interior pretty well and lets in enough light but not the heat. I'm amazed at the heat mitigating effect! Also worth the money to go with the motorised controller rather then the old style crank. I chose SolaShade based on their work in a previous home, and on the current recommendations of friends. In turn, I am happy to recommend to others. We have noticed awnings installed by other companies nearby and to be honest, they look flimsy and poorly manufactured. The SolaShade quote you get probably won't be the cheapest, but I'd be surprised if anyone would be unhappy with the quality , effectiveness and overall look of the SolaShade product (locally manufactured too).
