We recently used Sola Shade to design and install a louvered roof system and shutters in our courtyard, replacing an old pergola and lattice arrangement. We are thrilled with the result. The system is a great quality and visually appealing to both us and our neighbours. There were some delays along the way due to supplier issues outside Sola Shade’s control, but to their credit they worked with us to find a way forward and ultimately delivered a great-quality product. We’re very pleased with the finished result and appreciate the effort they put in to get the job completed well’Posted on Google

Loving our new louvres and roll-down blind, they have given us a whole new outdoor space that we're actually using for dinners and enjoying the garden. Sola Shade even installed them right before Christmas, ahead of schedule!! Very pleased with the service and finish. Recommend!Posted on Google

KATHYWe are extremely happy with the result of our Louvre Pergola Roof. Your supervisor and installers did a great job; they were happy to talk over with my husband about any concerns he had and work out solutions. Great customer servicePosted on Google
Phil ManfieldVery happy with our new plantation shutters from Sola Shade. Tudor is extremely knowledgeable and great to deal with; he replied immediately to our initial enquiry, and arranged a visit within a few days to take measurements and provide a quote. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality and the service. Installation was done very carefully, with good attention to detail. The shutters are high quality, and look great - very pleased indeed with the result.Posted on Google
Alison GreenwoodI was recommended Sola Shade by a tradie who told me that many of her clients had told her they had been very satisfied using Sola Shade. I can confirm that by saying that I was happy with all aspects of Sola Shade: the variety and quality of their products, the information provided at the shop, the flawless installation and - of course, the big one: the end result! So I’m very happy to recommend this family business.Posted on Google
Greg BlakeWe purchased Plantation shutters from Sola Shade. The product is amazing and the installation is perfect in every way. An unexpected side benefit is that we now have access to full window light and breeze, previously partially obscured by vertical blinds.I would recommend Sola Shade to anyone requiring window treatments.Posted on Google
Tracy MannTudor attended promptly to measure and quote on a large motorised retractable awning for a courtyard that gets too much western sun. Wait time from order to completion was 8 weeks. Installation was on time and fuss free with Simmo and Toby. We are delighted with the end product; powder coating of the head box matches the wall render ,and the 90% uv blockout grey tweed fabric looks great. Matches the house interior pretty well and lets in enough light but not the heat. I'm amazed at the heat mitigating effect! Also worth the money to go with the motorised controller rather then the old style crank. I chose SolaShade based on their work in a previous home, and on the current recommendations of friends. In turn, I am happy to recommend to others. We have noticed awnings installed by other companies nearby and to be honest, they look flimsy and poorly manufactured. The SolaShade quote you get probably won't be the cheapest, but I'd be surprised if anyone would be unhappy with the quality , effectiveness and overall look of the SolaShade product (locally manufactured too).
